Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data RepairPhoneBelgium collects through this website, why, for how long, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible for your data?

RepairPhoneBelgium (controller: Serhii Bordunov), Marktstraat 20, 8530 Harelbeke, Belgium, VAT BE 1022.755.825, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

For any questions about your data or this policy, contact us at info@repairphone.be.

2. What data do we collect?

Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.

Book a repair: device, repair type, preferred date and time, name, email and/or phone number, optional notes.

Business quote request: company name, contact person, email address, phone number, number of devices, your message.

For every form we also record a technically hashed (irreversibly encrypted) IP address and limited browser information, solely to recognise abuse and spam. We never ask for unnecessary data and these forms do not offer photo or document uploads.

3. Why do we process your data?

To respond to your contact, booking, or quote request (performing pre-contractual steps at your request).

To recognise and prevent spam and abuse of our forms (legitimate interest).

Only with your consent, to show features such as Google Maps or live Google reviews.

We never use your data for automated profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

This website only uses strictly necessary cookies until you consent to other categories. More details, including a full list of cookies, are available in our Cookie Policy.

5. Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your data. We only share data with carefully selected service providers acting as processors on our behalf:

— Hostinger: website hosting, email delivery, and secure storage.

— Cloudflare (Turnstile): a security check to block spam submissions; necessary for the security of the form you yourself submit.

— Google Maps and a live reviews widget (e.g. EmbedSocial): only loaded after you consent via our cookie banner.

We do not share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. International data transfers

Some service providers (such as Cloudflare or Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), in line with GDPR requirements.

7. How long do we keep your data?

Form data (contact, booking, business quote) is kept for a maximum of 24 months, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted via a scheduled process. We never retain data longer than necessary to handle your request and any follow-up questions.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@repairphone.be. We reply within a reasonable time and no later than one month.

9. Filing a complaint

Not satisfied with how we process your data? You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA/APD), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

10. Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to stored data, protection against spam and automated attacks, and regular review of our security settings.

11. Children's data

This website is not specifically directed at children. If you notice a minor has provided us with data unintentionally, please contact us and we will delete it as soon as possible.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
