Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.

Book a repair: device, repair type, preferred date and time, name, email and/or phone number, optional notes.

Business quote request: company name, contact person, email address, phone number, number of devices, your message.

For every form we also store a pseudonymised code derived from your IP address (a keyed hash; the address itself is not stored), solely to recognise abuse and spam. We do not store your browser details with a form. We never ask for unnecessary data and these forms do not offer photo or document uploads.

When you visit the website, a strictly necessary session cookie keeps the forms secure. The session is stored as a file on our server and does not contain your IP address or browser details. Like any web server, our hosting provider processes technical connection data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the website. We also count, in daily totals per type of page and language, page views and clicks on our phone, WhatsApp, route and Google review links. These totals use no cookies and store no IP address, browser details or any other identifier.

To respond to your contact, booking, or quote request (performing pre-contractual steps at your request).

To recognise and prevent spam and abuse of our forms (legitimate interest).

Only with your consent, to show features such as Google Maps, and to measure our Google Ads campaigns.

To understand, in anonymous daily totals, how the website is used, so we can improve it (legitimate interest). This involves no cookies and no data that identifies you.

We never use your data for automated profiling or automated decision-making.

This website only uses strictly necessary cookies until you consent to other categories (Google Maps and Google Ads). More details, including a full list of cookies, are available in our Cookie Policy. Our visit statistics do not use cookies.

We never sell your data. We only share data with carefully selected service providers acting as processors on our behalf:

— Hostinger: website hosting (including its content delivery network), email delivery, and secure storage.

— Cloudflare (Turnstile): a security check to block spam submissions; necessary for the security of the form you yourself submit.

— Google Maps: only loaded after you consent via our cookie banner. Our Google rating and reviews are fetched by our server from Google and shown as text; your browser does not contact Google for them.

— Google Ads: only after you consent via our cookie banner, to measure ad performance. Without consent, Google may still receive limited cookieless signals for conversion modelling (Consent Mode).

Some service providers (such as Cloudflare or Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), in line with GDPR requirements.

Form data (contact, booking, business quote) stored on our website is automatically and permanently deleted after 24 months by a scheduled process. We never retain data longer than necessary to handle your request and any follow-up questions. A copy of each request also reaches our business mailbox by email; that copy is not part of the automatic deletion. Records of cookie choices contain no personal data and are deleted on the same schedule as form data, at the earliest after 400 days. Our website's error logs are kept for 14 days.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@repairphone.be. We reply within a reasonable time and no later than one month.

Not satisfied with how we process your data? You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA/APD), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to stored data, protection against spam and automated attacks, and regular review of our security settings.

This website is not specifically directed at children. If you notice a minor has provided us with data unintentionally, please contact us and we will delete it as soon as possible.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
